Default PVP Rampaging R/W Build

Well here it is. I tested it and it turned out pretty good. Suggestions would be nice.

Attributes:
Expertise: 12
Swordsmanship: 12
Beast Mastery: 10

Skills:
1. Seeking Blade
2. Sever Artery
3. Gash
4. Scavenger's Strike
5. Rampage as One [ELITE]
6. Comfort Animal
7. Charm Animal
8. Res

Use Rampage as one 1st. Then start using Seeking Blade until you gain 4 strikes of adrenaline. Use sever artery then start spamming scavenger's strike using gash and seeking strike. If the bleeding stops use sever artery again.

The thing is I don't know whether to take out Seeking Blade for whirling defense. I was called a noob for taking out res for WD lol. So i was thinking which skill to take off. Or is it even needed for PVP. Sorry I'm just new to this, I only have Nightfall so far.

Bunny Thumpers are hammer rangers - the OP uses a sword. There is a recent thread about sword rangers here: http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10085788 - don't pay attention to the argue but you may want to check it and see if you can find tips there.

Just a disclaimer before people start jumpin on you like they did on the person on the other thread:

A R/W ranger with a sword will be less effective than one with a hammer. The reason for this is that a hammer ranger will likely bring more damage as well as the ability to KD and cause deepwound. With that said, running a R/W sword ranger for fun in RA or AB should be fine.

Don't get me wrong I love swords, just some food for thought.
with the 33% increased attack speed in RaO the speed advantage of swords over hammer is approaching zero, and without tactics a shield is almost just the mods it carries. As a result my *opinion* is that an r/w with a sword should be using tactics and if not go hammer - this is just like Archonv sez, more effective. Seeking blade is an awesome spammable sword skill, and yet the poor ranger has no defense and no self heal. A conundrum.
I guess if I had to choose though, the best defense is killing yer opponent quicker keep the seeking blade and continue to rely on your monk(s)!
